Sweet and sour potatoes:


Ingredients
1.    Potatoes 1.5 kg around 6 medium sized
2.    Tomatoes 1 kg or 4 large blended
3.    Red chili powder 1tbsp
4.    Ginger garlic paste 1tbsp
5.    Cumin zeera roasted grinded 1tsp
6.    Turmeric haldi ¼ tsp
7.    Coriander dhanya powder 1tsp
8.    Chaat masala 1 tsp
9.    Tamarind imli pulp half cup
10. Gurr / brown sugar 1 tbsp
11. Coriander half bunch for garnish
12. Curry patta
13. Oil 2 tbsp
14. Salt 1 tsp

Method:
  1. Peel potatoes cut them into medium sized cubes and boil them. (boils quicker and potatoes don’t loose shape). keep these aside.
  2. In a wok add 2 tbsp oil add ginger garlic  paste, fry till it gives aroma.
  3. Now add tomatoes puree and cook till it changes colour and water dries.
  4. Now add chaat masala red chili powder curry leaves, haldi and zeera  cook for 3 minutes.
  5. Add the imli pulp and gurr/brown sugar and cook for a minute.
  6. Lastly add the potatoes, give it a good mix till the mixture coats the potatoes evenly.
  7. Garnish with fresh coriander
  8. Serve hot at tea time
