Chicken Tikka
Ingredients:
1. Chicken 1 whole cut into 4 parts tikka style
2. Yougurt/ dahi
3-4 tbsp
3. Ginger garlic/adrak lahsan paste ½ tbsp.
4. Cumin seeds / zeera roasted powder 1 ½ tsp
5. Red chili powder 1 tsp
6. Chat masala 1tbsp
7. Kashmiri lal mirch ½ tsp cayenne pepper
8. Garam masala powder ½ tsp
9. Lemon juice 1 lemon
10. Yellow food color ¼ tsp( zarda rang)
11. Tenderizer ½ tsp
12. Salt 1 ½ tsp
13. Oil 2 tbsp
Method:
1. Wash chicken and pat dry. Put diagonal cut
marks in the chicken pieces so the the marinate penetrates deep into it
2. Whisk yogurt, now add all the masala and all the
ingredients into the yougurt. mix it well
3. Add this yogurt masala into the chicken, cover
and let it marinate for 1 to 4 hours, the longer the marination the tastier it
gets.
4. Now bake chicken at 180 degrees /350 Fahrenheit
for 45 minutes
5. Serve hot with nan or paratha
