Chicken makhni handi
INGREDIENTS:
1.
Chicken boneless-
half kg
2.
Onion medium-2 (sliced)
3.
Tomatoes medium -3(sliced)
4.
Ginger garlic paste-
1 tsp
5.
Green chilies 6-7
6.
Cream 100 ml (
around 4 tbsp)
7.
Yogurt - 3tbsp
8.
All spice (Garam
masala) powder ½ tsp
9.
Black pepper ½ tsp
10. Red chili powder 1 tsp
11. Crushed red chilies ½ tsp
12. Cumin seeds (safed zeera) – 1 tbsp
13. Fenugreek leaves(kasuri methi) 1 ½ tbsp
14. Chinese salt ½ tsp
15. Salt to taste or ¾ tsp
16. Oil - for cooking
METHOD
1.
Take a clay pot (
clay pot gives a distinctive flavor to the dish ypu can also use normal
saucepan) add oil and then add onions and tomatoes. Fry it till the onions are cooked .

In a blender add
this onion mix and green chilies with ¼ cup water and blend them nicely. Set this
mix aside.
3.
In the same handi(
clay pot) heat oil andadd the ginger garlic paste ,now add the chicken.
4.
Now cook the chicken
until it leaves all its water ( around 10 minutes)
5.
Add chili powder, crushed red chilies,cumin
seeds salt and chinese salt.
6.
add the blended mix into the chicken and cook
for around 3 min.
7.
Now add fenugreek
leaves and cook for a few minutes.
8.
At the very last add
all spice powder ( garam masala) black pepper and cream, cook for 2 minutes
9.
Serve hot with nan
