CHAPLI KABAB


Chapli kabab.

These kababs atre my most favourite. This dish originates from Peshawar . it’s a jucy spicy steak like kabab. Enjoy :D

Ingredients:
1.      Minced meat- 1 kg ( should have around 20% fat content)
2.      White cumin (safed zeera)- 1 tbsp
3.      Green chilli fine chopped- 1 ½ tsp
4.      Corn meal (makai ka ata)- ¾ cup * DO NOT TAKE CORN FLOUR
5.      Eggs 3
6.      Tomatoes fine chopped medium- 3
7.      Onion medium sized- 2 (fine chopped)
8.      Dried coriander powder -4 tbsp
9.      Crushed whole dried red chilli -3 tbsp
10. Ginger paste 1 tsp
11. Dried pomegranates ( anar dana) ½ cup
12. Salt to taste or 1 ½ tsp  

Method
1.      Take two eggs and fry them a little but not completely
2.      Into the minced meat add all the ingredients and the half cooked eggs. Now leave the mix to marinate for 2 to 4 hours in a refrigerator.
3.      Now shape the mix into think flat . the chapli kababs are huge kabab around the size of your palm
4.      Shallow fry them until they are cooked well.
5.      Serve  hot with cutney
